Bonjour ladies,

I hope everyone had a fabulous summer! I certainly did—I spent two amazing months in the US, and guess what... I AM MARRIED! 💍

After a holiday, your hair deserves some extra love, especially if it’s been exposed to sun, saltwater, or just needs a bit of a refresh. Here’s my go-to routine for bringing textured hair back to life, using my favorite Mimi et Mina oil. Let’s get those curls, coils, and waves looking gorgeous again!

1.Start with a Gentle Clarifying Wash

First things first—let's cleanse away all that buildup from saltwater, chlorine, or products. Use a sulfate-free clarifying shampoo to gently purify your scalp and strands without stripping away natural oils.

2. Deep Condition for Intense Hydration

Textured hair craves moisture, especially after sun exposure. Apply a deep conditioner, focusing on the mid-lengths to ends. To really boost the hydration, use a warm towel or shower cap to let it penetrate deeply. Trust me, your curls will thank you!

3. Detangle with Care

While your hair is still damp and coated with conditioner, use a wide-tooth comb or your fingers to gently detangle from the ends up. This reduces breakage and makes styling much easier.

4. Apply a Leave-In Conditioner

Once your hair is clean and conditioned, it’s time to lock in that moisture. A leave-in conditioner is key for keeping textured hair soft and manageable. I like to apply it generously, especially to my ends.

5. Seal with Mimi et Mina Oil

Now for my secret weapon— Mimi et Mina oil !  I apply a few drops to seal in the moisture and add shine. This lightweight oil is perfect for keeping frizz at bay and leaving your hair feeling smooth and luxurious.

6. Air-Dry or Use a Diffuser

I’m all about low-maintenance drying. Air-drying is great, but if you're in a rush, use a diffuser on low heat to maintain your curl pattern without the risk of heat damage.

7.Trim Any Split Ends

Give your hair a quick trim if you spot any split ends. It helps prevent further breakage and keeps your hair looking fresh and healthy.

8. Try Protective Styles

To keep your hair in tip-top shape post-holiday, consider a protective style like twists, braids, or an updo. Not only will it reduce tangling, but it’ll also help retain moisture.

CONCLUSION

With this routine and a little help from Mimi et Mina oil, your hair will bounce back beautifully, feeling nourished and looking absolutely radiant. Let’s bring those curls back to life! 🌸

Bisous,

Mimi 💕
